Terms of Use – EdTech Group Online

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the EdTech Group website at https://www.edtechgroup.com.au and any associated digital platforms, learning management systems, applications, or online services operated by EdTech Group (collectively, the “Platform”).

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Platform.

Effective date: 1 January 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) set out the conditions under which your organisation may access and use the Platform, including all educational content, training materials, software, tools, and services provided by EdTech Group.

By accessing the Platform, you confirm that:

  • You are authorised to act on behalf of your organisation and enter into these Terms; and
  • Your organisation accepts these Terms without limitation or qualification.

Access to and continued use of the Platform is conditional upon compliance with these Terms.

2. Changes to These Terms

EdTech Group reserves the right to update these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be available on our website.

Where material changes are made, we will use reasonable efforts to notify the nominated primary contact for your organisation at least 10 business days prior to the updated Terms taking effect.

Continued use of the Platform after this period constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

3. Definitions

  • Organisation: A business, school, government body, not-for-profit entity, or other corporate or institutional client authorised to use the Platform.
  • Authorised User: An employee, student, contractor, or representative of an Organisation who has been granted access under that Organisation’s licence or agreement.
  • Administrator: The person nominated by an Organisation to manage users, access rights, and communications with EdTech Group.

Personal Information: Has the meaning given in our Privacy Policy.

4. Privacy

By agreeing to these Terms, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.

Any Personal Information collected through the Platform will be handled in accordance with that policy and applicable Australian privacy laws.

5. Acceptable Use

5.1 User Responsibilities

Authorised Users must:

  • Use the Platform solely for educational, training, or internal organisational purposes;
  • Keep login credentials secure and confidential.
  • Respect the intellectual property rights of EdTech Group and third parties;
  • Promptly notify their Administrator or EdTech Group of any suspected unauthorised access.

5.2 Prohibited Conduct

Users must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform or interfere with its operation;
  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit Platform content without written permission;
  • Upload or transmit unlawful, offensive, or harmful material;
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users or EdTech Group personnel.

6. Registration and Access

Organisations may register multiple Authorised Users under a licence or service agreement. User accounts are individual and must not be shared.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Platform content is licensed for non-exclusive, non-transferable, internal use only.

EdTech Group reserves the right to update, modify, or remove content at any time to enhance quality, accuracy, or functionality.

7. Suspension and Termination

EdTech Group may suspend or terminate access to the Platform where:

  • These Terms are breached;
  • The Platform is misused; or
  • An Organisation’s licence or agreement expires or is terminated.

Organisations may terminate their use of the Platform in accordance with the terms of their applicable agreement.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 EdTech Group Content

All content made available through the Platform, including course materials, videos, assessments, software, documentation, branding, and designs, is protected by intellectual property laws and remains the property of Skilligence Pty Ltd trading as EdTech Group or its licensors.

No content may be copied, modified, or redistributed except as expressly permitted.

8.2 Organisation Data

Data uploaded or generated by Authorised Users remains the property of the Organisation. EdTech Group may use aggregated and de-identified data for analytics, reporting, service improvement, and research purposes.

9. Disclaimer

The Platform is provided for education and training purposes only.

While EdTech Group endeavours to ensure accuracy and quality, the Platform is provided “as is” and we do not warrant that:

  • Access will be uninterrupted or error-free; or
  • Content is complete, current, or suitable for any specific purpose.

Organisations are responsible for determining whether the content meets their needs.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EdTech Group excludes all liability for:

  • Loss or damage arising from use of or inability to use the Platform;
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential loss; or
  • Loss of business, revenue, profits, or data.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights or guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

11. Security

Organisations are responsible for ensuring the security of their systems and devices used to access the Platform. EdTech Group does not guarantee the security of information transmitted over the internet.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
