NSW Digital Skills & Workforce Compact – EdTech Group Signs the 20% Alternative Pathways Pledge

Yesterday, Adam Jacobs, Managing Director and CEO of the EdTech Group, joined fellow industry leaders in signing the 20% Alternative Pathways Pledge with the NSW Department of Education.

At the event, The Hon. Steve Whan, MP, Minister for Skills, TAFE, and Tertiary Education, highlighted the urgent need to address the projected 85,000-person shortfall in digitally skilled roles by 2030 — a challenge that requires businesses across NSW to step up and take action.

The EdTech Group is proud to support this pledge as an Enabler, helping to build a stronger digital workforce through our range of non-accredited and accredited skills programs designed to empower businesses and create new career pathways into the tech sector.

Together, we can open doors, create opportunities, and help NSW meet its digital future with confidence.
